ZanshinTraders wants everyone to be able to use Zanshin: the website, the web and phone app, and the Windows desktop app. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and we treat accessibility problems as bugs.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Form fields have labels; errors are announced to screen readers (live regions) and described in words, not colour alone.
- Text and controls meet AA colour-contrast ratios on our dark theme; text can be zoomed to 200% without breaking the layout.
- Animations (the logo reveal, the 3D hero, the calendar zoom) switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Charts and the P&L calendar show the numbers as text as well as colour (green/red is never the only signal).
- Images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and language attributes, and are tested with NVDA (Windows) and VoiceOver (iPhone).
- Sign-in never relies on a puzzle or CAPTCHA. Two-step sign-in works with any authenticator app, and recovery codes are available.
Known limitations
- Chart screenshots you upload are images. The bot review and checklist describe them in text, but the picture itself can't be read by a screen reader.
- Third-party content (podcast and video pages we link to, Stripe checkout, Discord) is outside our control; those services publish their own accessibility statements.
- The decorative 3D scene on the home page is hidden from screen readers and has a static fallback.
Feedback and help
If anything in Zanshin is hard to use with your setup, tell us and we'll fix it or help you another way. Email zanshinfounder@zanshintraders.com with "Accessibility" in the subject, or use the Zanshin Support chat. We aim to reply within 2 business days. If you need information from the site in another format, ask and we'll provide it.
Formal complaints
If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the accessibility or equality body where you live (for example, in the UK the Equality Advisory and Support Service, or in the EU your national enforcement body under the European Accessibility Act).
